I didn't really intend to take a such a big break from you all, but I have been quite busy trying to get everything finished for Christmas and a few baptisms we have had this last week. If I were really good, I would take pictures of all the things I am working on to show you all, but I am a slacker in that. They still may be coming though. I have this idea in my head for a nightgown for our little one. If it works, I will definitely post pictures. If you don't see any pictures, you will know it didn't work :).

I have another card template for you. I was a little hesitant to post it this late, but then I realized that you still have time if you do the one hour printing at Costco, Sam's, or where ever.

Sorry I am posting so late. I have been trying to get my Christmas decorations up today.
So, you are all wondering who that is. It is Cheryl (her blog is Mama's Thoughts). I bet she is so happy, but she should also go give her hubby a big hug and kiss because I am pretty sure it was him that commented three times trying to win this for his wife. This is what he said, "Why do I need PSE7? Because it would make my wife SO, SO happy to have it. What job is more important for a husband that to make his wife happy??" Isn't that sweet. Of course I had to read it to my hubby. So hopefully I put two and two together correctly and this Matt is her husband. What are you thankful for?
Me, my family. They bring me so much joy. I'm so grateful they are mine for all time and eternity.
My health, yes that includes all this fun morning sickness, it just means the little one is growing and strong.
My faith, as many of you know and can tell by looking at my sidebar, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The things I have been taught and learned at church have strengthened my personal testimony. I know God lives. I know Jesus Christ lives and that His atonement for us is real. This knowledge give me joy in my life and strength for the trials that we all face.
My friends. I have been truly blessed with some incredible friends.
Blogger, because it let me write this post two days ago and then set it to publish today.
You all. I am still often humbled that there are so many of you who think the things that I create are good enough to use in preserving your own precious memories. Thank you.

Now I know that Elements 8 has been out for a few months, but since I don't even have PSE 8 yet, if I got my hands on a copy of it I would keep it for myself, not give it away. Black Friday Sale

Now when I asked you all about doing a Black Friday sale, there were a lot of you who do not like them. You don't like getting up early, waiting in lines, there not being want you want and dealing with some of those people who just are rude. Well, then my Black Friday sale is perfect for you. You can get up at 5am if you want, but it is not required. Everything will be on sale ALL day long. If you have a couple of friends who like Piccolina Designs, you can get together and line up in front of the computer to get the kits, but again, a line is not required. You do not have to worry about my items running out (I have a million put in inventory and I can instantly add more :) ). And since you will be shopping at home, if someone is rude to you, you can put them in time out. I hope all of you will take advantage of this sale. Like the ad it says, everything will be at LEAST 50% off. Some items will be even more discounted.

I usually don't post on Sundays, but our church is having Stake Conference today (that is were several congregations from around the area gather together). That means that church will not be starting until later. Plus, I really wanted to give you a sneak peak.

One Week Till BLACK FRIDAY

Ok, so how many of you are crack of dawn, black Friday, deal hunters? I am, and surprisingly, so is the hubby. Black Friday is usually when we get new electronics (external hard drives, new monitors, etc.) and new software (Office 2007, elements 7, etc). This year we haven't really seen anything yet that is a great deal, but I am sure we will still be up at the crack of dawn traveling with the family to check out the deals. I think it is more a tradition than anything else.
So, do you think I should do a Black Friday sale on all my kits? I would not make you get up at the crack of dawn to get them, I would let the sale run all day Friday, but it would be a pretty darn good sale. Also, the great thing about digital products is that there is more than enough for everyone, so you don't have to make sure you are the first in line to get it. Today's cards are nativity ones. My mother collects nativities by the dozens. I am finding that I am being drawn to them more and more every year, but I have a long time before I even come close to as many as my mama has. I like to put them up around the house to help us keep in mind what the real reason we celebrate Christmas is.

Oh my goodness!!! I have been slacking in getting the birthday treats out to you haven't I. So sorry. Want to hear my excuse? I am starting to feel so much better. I have been spending every moment I can down in my craft room working on Christmas gifts and other fun things. I haven't really got to use my craft room since we moved into the house a few months ago because I have been feeling so icky with morning sickness (or all-the-time sickness as DH calls it). But now I am making up for lost time. I love creating!!!

Sorry I did not get a freebie posted yesterday. I actually have been very busy these last two days going through ALL, yes ALL the comments that are on my blog. And ALL, the comments for 39 files that I currently had in 4-shared. Why, you ask? Because I want to give presents to you lovely people who make my day brighter with you comments. I LOVE COMMENTS!!!! You may have noticed that when you leave a comment on my blog it does not get published right away because it has to be approved by me first. I didn't do this because I was getting rude or bad comments, I did this so that I was sure not to miss any of you wonderful comments. They really do brighten up my day and make me want to create more for you all. So, lets give a big cheer for some of these wonderful people that leave comments so regularly, I feel like I know them. Seaside Holiday was inspired by my Christmas Tree

No, my Christmas tree is not already up. This is from last year. My DH would have a fit if I already had it up. I can just hear him saying, "Can't the pilgrims have their day?"
My Christmas tree is decorated in blues and greens with lots and lots of sea shells I collect and bought while living in SC. I love my Christmas tree and am so excited to put it up this year. Our new home has a formal living room and since we don't have the furniture to fill a formal living room, there is plenty of room for my Christmas tree and all my holiday decor.
Jody was finally the lucky #7 with the correct answer. JODY you can email me your address and I will get the little barrettes out to you.
Today's freebie is another holiday one. I actually just used this kit to make invitations for our cookie exchange. So much fun.

Here are the elements for the Expecting Joy kit. I have decided to call this my 1 year birthday month instead of anniversary. Anniversary sounds like I am married to Piccolina Designs ♥ ☺ I will admit at times when I am trying to get a new kit done or some freebies made for you it feels like I am married to my computer and photoshop ☹ But most of the time I really enjoy doing this. Plus anniversary sounds more intimate, like something only two people should be celebrating and I want to celebrate with everyone!!! So we are going to have a BIRTHDAY PARTY all month long. YOUR ARE ALL INVITED. Everyone will get a goodie bag (some freebies, of course) and some of you will get some gifts. Thank you for all the nice comments and email regarding the Out of this World kit. I am so glad you all liked it.
I have received a few emails asking when the expired parts of Color My World the Rich Colors will be available in the store. I have been trying for the last week to get them loaded into the store, but have been having quite a few issues with it. I have contacted the store owner to try and resolve the problem. Hopefully that will be soon. Just keep an eye on my blog. I will definitely advertise when they are available so that you can have the complete Color My World set.
I am thinking is is about time for another scrap challenge. Who wants to Play???? How to you play you ask.

A little break from Color My World

In case you were wondering, I am still designing kits for sale. This one has actually been finished for about 2 months, it just took a long time to get it loaded to the store. This one was made with boys in mind, but it does not have to be for only boys. It is for all your little space explorers and space cadets. I felt inspired to make this one since I did not have much luck finding a digital scrapbooking space or outerspace kit. I had a lot of fun making all the fun little creatures for this kit, but I will admit my favorite part is the little astronaut with the clear helmet that you can put your little ones picture behind (just check out the preview). Just in time for October

So, October is still almost a week away, but if you are like me you have already been getting excited for it. I really like this time of year. It starts with Hubby's B-day, then mine, then Halloween, then an anniversary and then Thanksgiving, then Christmas is here before you know it. I really enjoy Halloween and still take every opportunity to dress up that I can. I also love the colors of Fall and orange is definitely at the top of the list. I actually have been looking at some pop top cans that are somewhat nice looking that I could put at the end of the counter instead of in the closet. Red Alpha

I told you I had to come up with something fabulous for this alpha since it is my favorite color. I actually did make an alpha, but it just wasn't fabulous enough. So I started going through my commercial use items for some inspiration and found this great gray tape alpha from Gunhild Storeide. I tried recoloring it to red and loved it. So, I cannot take any credit for this alpha. All I did is make it red. Thanks Gunhild.LINK EXPIRED

First, did you notice the change in the right hand sidebar? You can now buy the expired Color My World kits right from my blog. It goes through PayPal, so it is safe and secure. And if you do not have a PayPal account, the shopping cart will allow a credit/debit card purchase. I am just so excited to be offering these to you finally. I have had several requests for them and have not been able to get them into the store, but found this solution instead.

Now, I know it is not very good business sense to tell you this, but you might want to wait a little on purchasing those. Why? Because NOVEMBER IS A SPECIAL MONTH!!! Do any of you know why? Maybe some of you faithful followers do. This is the month that Piccolina Designs got started 1 year ago!!! And I plan on celebrating it in style. THERE will be a sale on my products.
