Turquoise

Back with some more Color My World. Sorry it took so long, I had a little issue with uploading it to 4-shared, but problem solved.
We are starting the turquoise kit now. I hope you like this kit.LINK EXPIRED
I have been very busy these past few days downloading about 10gb (seriously, hours and hours of downloading) of commercial use design tools from Royanna, of RA Studio. Her items are absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to use them to make some fabulous kits for you all. I might be using some of her stuff for the alpha for this kit. I can't wait to get some items done for you so that you can see her incredible work.

The Winners!!!

First, I want to show you one of my little projects this week. This only took me about an hour to make and I already love it. It is a trash bag for your car. It just Velcros around the headrest. I followed the tutorial from Ashley over at Make It and Love It {HERE}. She did not put the plastic bags in hers, but I already had them (they are actually the little baggies you buy at the pet store to pick up after your puppy on a walk. I have two rolls left over from when I fostered a dog for a little while). This little baggies fit perfectly, and then I can just take them out and replace them when full. I may have to change which headrest it is on since it is so close to the little one, but so far there has not been a problem.
Before I get to the winners, here are a few pics of my nieces and little one in their tutus. We had fun taking these pics and they turned out sooooooo cute!
Now for the winners.
The scrapbook kits go to: Kendolyn and Monica
The Tutu goes to: Stephanie A.
The hairbows go to: Wendy L.
And at the last moment I added this apron into the prizes and it goes to: Angie D.
Congratulations ladies. And again, thank you for your donation to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.

Hello

I survived. My triathlon went wonderful. I did so much better on this one than I did on my first, but I do not think there will be a third one for awhile. I want to put the focus back on my running and improving that. Thank you again to those that donated. I will be announcing the giveaway winners by the end of this week.
I really did try to follow the suggestions given for the CMW yellow green alpha. However, I was unable to find the font mentioned by one of the comments, and I could not find leaves that looked right, so I went with flowers instead, hoping it was still springy and fun. Take a close look at the alpha. They are embroidery. You get a huge alpha. Both upper and lowercase letters. I also did the numbers and punctuation in both the green and white for you. I hope you enjoy this alpha and have lots of fun used for it.

Less than 24 hours

Ok, my triathlon is less than 24 hours and way and I still have not met my fundraising goal yet. {PLEASE} help. Read {THIS} post for all the details. There has only been one entry for the drawings so far, so if you donate, you will not only get the Lullaby kit for free, but you will have an excellent chance of winning the giveaway of your choice. To donate, go to my triathlon race page {HERE}. All funds go to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

Still Fundraising

My triathlon is this Saturday. I have been quite busy training for it and getting ready. However, I still need your help. I still some ways away from my goal. If you read my previous post {HERE} about my fundraising, you know that each $1 you donate you get one entry in the drawing of your choice for some great gifts. I have also created an adorable kit in honor of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (the charity ALL the fundraising money goes to). There is no mini kit for this kit and it is not in the store yet, so how do you get it? You probably already guessed it. DONATE to Tri for Your Cause. If you donate $2 or more, you will receive the download link and password to get this entire kit. This IS NOT a mini kit. It is a FULL kit. 16 papers, 37 elements and 2 Alphas. After the fundraising ends on Saturday, this kit will go into the store for the price of $5.25. So a $2 donation to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is a great deal for this kit and it all goes to this wonderful organization. To donate you can click on any of the images to be taken to the donation site. You can also visit my running blog, Riverdale Runners, to read about my training {HERE} Be sure that the email you use when donating is an active one, as this is the email that the download link and password will be sent to. If each of you donates only $2, I can easily reach my goal and help Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep continue to offer their priceless services.
Also, after you donate, don't forget to email me about which giveaways you would like to be entered into.

BLOG TRAIN

*********IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE KIT PRIOR TO 3:30Pm Central Time on Sunday, IT IS MISSING THE ALPHA. I HAVE FIXED THE DOWNLOAD TO NOW INCLUDE THE ALPHA. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE**********
I am part of a blog train that is definitely a color scheme that I would never have chosen on my own, but I am pleased with the outcome. It is always good to stretch my creative side some and work outside the box some. This blog train is titled "Wish You Were Here" and is somewhat travel themed. I will admit that my part is not very travely, but more generic. I hope you like it.

There are over a dozen participants in this blog train, so be sure to visit their sites as well.

A little Freebie

LINK EXPIRED
I haven't forgotten you all. It has been a busy week for me. Me and the little one have been visiting family. She has been having so much fun with her cousins and aunts. I think her daddy will be surprised at how much better she is getting around and how much closer she is to walking when he sees her tomorrow. It helps to have people closer to her height willing to let her hold onto their hands and walk all over the place with them. She is loving it.
Here is the second part of the green yellow Color My World kit. If any of you have ideas for the alpha for this color, please let me know. I have kind of hit a designing road block when it comes to ideas for this alpha. Enjoy the kit.
